In this study of 1 Corinthians 14, Pastor Derek talks about the spiritual gift of prophecy and the spiritual gift of tongues. The gift of tongues has two functions as described in the Scripture. One is a public use which when followed by the spiritual gift of interpretation is similar to prophecy. The more common reference to speaking in tongues in 1 Corinthians 14 is the prayer language of the Spirit.
